Additional courses will cover handling specific types of hazardous materials in greater detail, but all workers who are employees in an industry that involves the handling, preparation, or transportation of HazMat must have DOT general awareness training. The course can also be tailored to drivers, manufacturers, and anyone who repairs or reconditions containers used to store hazardous materials.

In this training course, instructors from Premier Safety will cover lockout and tagout compliance based on OSHA’s 1910.147 J: Control of hazardous energy subsection.
